I needed some fun games for Halloween and Thanksgiving events and I wanted them to be fun for any age! I decided to create two pumpkin-themed games that were simple to play — the first one is called “pumpkin drawing game” and the second one is called “pass the pumpkin”.
Pumpkin Drawing Game
Items needed:
-one piece of paper for each player
-pencil, crayon, pen, or marker for each player
-Draw the Pumpkin Dice Game (free printable)
This game is all about drawing a pumpkin! The catch is that the dice decides what you get to draw and in what order you can draw each pumpkin part! Each player takes a turn to roll their dice and the first player to draw their complete pumpkin is the winner!
There will be guaranteed laughter and silly pictures of pumpkins from all players!
Pass the Pumpkin Game
Items needed:
-one pumpkin (any size you like)
–Pass the Pumpkin Game free printable
I’ve played “left/right” games in the past and I remember them being so much fun!
Last night I made up this little story about a pumpkin’s journey using many “left” and “right” words. Each time the players hear “left” or “right” they will pass the pumpkin.
Game Tip: You can also have multiple pumpkins with each pumpkin representing a different prize!
