I decided to share something sassy and light.
You know…something kid friendly!
After all..It is summer time and the kids are into
EVERYTHING…
This is all you need!
(neon fabric paint, Grandma’s doilies, and a cheap foam brush.)

Let it dry!
(It will become kinda hard.)
then rinse it in cold water.
(then it becomes soft.)
Let it dry again!
(take some cute pictures)
Dab a little fabric paint on one side only.
(This helps it stay in place when you start sewing.)

But you don’t have to sew!
You can always use these to decorate.
Find something cute to stick it on.
(onesie, tote bag, shirt)
Anything you can manage to get under the sewing machine!
Now…
Sew along the outer edges in a zig zag stitch.
Get your camera !
now you can capture
50% Sassy and 50% Sweet!
Happy Friday!

This is really cute, but I think it should be noted that you can get machine-made doilies for about $1 from JoAnn Fabrics and similar stores.
“Grandma’s doilies”, if handmade, take somewhere over 12 hours to make PER DOILY (unless she’s *really* fast, then maybe 6 hours?).

This is “OH MY HECK” cute!!

Really cute idea with lots of other applications. I think you meant use Fabritac instead of fabric paint to keep it stuck on the shirt when sewing.

Such a cute idea! I found two, small/medium-ish ones, in a package at Dollar Tree, or one large one. I may need to try this for my new niece
