With the start of a new school year comes a new book bag…and ways to decorate that book bag. Kids like to make things ‘their own’ by adding a personal touch; something to make it stand out to them. We found a perfect way to do that for our book bags: make a bottle cap zipper pull!
Supply List:
Round Stickers (Spiderman is optional)
Painted Bottle Caps
Mod Podge Dimensional Magic
Key Rings
Hammer & Large Nails
Wood Board
Put you sticker on the inside of your bottle cap…or on the outside like my 3 year old did.
Hammer the bottle caps flat.
Now we need to put a hole at the top for the key chain ring. We are going to do this before we add the Mod Podge Dimensional Magic.
Nail the bottle caps to the wood board. {Note: put the nail where you want the key ring to be.} Keep them nailed to the board so when you pour on the Dimensional Magic it won’t cover up the hole you made.
Grab your Mod Podge Dimensional Magic and squirt some into the middle of the bottle cap. Spread it around with the tip of the bottle.
This stuff is awesome, but remember a little goes a long way.
Wait for it to dry completely {see product instructions for drying time}. Add your key ring and attach your rockin’ awesome zipper pull to your new back pack.

I’ve had Dimensional Magic sitting around in my supply drawer for a while now. This will be the perfect craft for my 4 year old’s birthday party next month. I have all of the materials, and it will be fun for the kids!
Thanks!
