Supply List:

• I HEART DAD Father’s Day Printable
• 5×7 favorite photo
• kid’s artwork
• glue stick
• X-acto knife
• picture frame

Step #1: Download printable and print to whatever size your frame is.  We choose 8×10 and used the PIXMA iP8720 Crafting Printer. I also printed a 5×7 picture of my kids. I decided on an older picture of the kids for sentimental reasons…mainly because I miss them being little. Step #2: With the X-acto knife, cut out the “I HEART DAD”.  This is the only part I wouldn’t let me little one do…for obvious reasons.  I kind of like her little fingers intact.

Step #3:  Trace the heart you cut out on top of the picture, but don’t trace it true to size.  You want the picture about 1/4″ bigger than the heart. Glue the heart picture in place.

Step #4: Place the “I HEART DAD” page on top of the artwork so it shows through and glue it down.

Step #5: Glue the letter pieces inside the “DAD” word where they go.Step #6: Frame it and give to Daddy!

For Father’s Day I’m teaming up with Canon to bring you this exclusive printable for gift bags! There are two tie versions with white pockets (write any message your heart desires on the pocket and fill with a pen or a treat), and I’ve included some fancy printables for the bow tie dad, too!

SUPPLIES:

• plain white gift bags (or any favorite color)
• adhesive
• white cardstock

DIRECTIONS:

1. Print out the printables on white cardstock
2. Cut and adhere the ties, buttons, and pockets to the gift bag.
3. Fill with gift and tissue paper for the perfect Father’s Day Gift!

Although, I initially planned to put my husband’s Valentine gift inside, I decided to let my little girl take it to school for her “Valentine Box“.  I definitely think it will be the funnest one there…even though most kids probably won’t understand what it is…unless they have nerd-parents like my kids.

This gift bag would be awesome for ANY gift giving holiday, too.  I made it with my Silhouette Digital Craft Cutter, white vinyl and these incredible Doctor Who stencils by Doodlecraft (who quite possibly could be my BFF in real life).

I want to share this quick and easy Father’s Day gift idea with you.  For the dad’s at church I made these cookie gifts with snack size packages of Nutter Butter Cookies and a cute printable I created. 

I sent the PDF of the “We’re NUTS about you!” printable to my local copy shop with the instructions on how many I needed printed.  Grabbed some boxes of Nutter Butter Cookies and a stapler and went to work.

It took about an hour to cut the printable into strips and then staple them on the cookie packages.  

This gift will be a hit for the guys at church!
